i bought the My Cloud box from a local computer shop for almost 5$ 😁
i have a 6 TB my cloud and i love it but i want to add another one and their price in my country are going too high for my budget
anyway, i have an old 1 TB hard disk WD green, i formatted it with paragon partition manager to ext4
telling my self that the video is 7 years old he probably didn't knew about it back then! 😅
i connected the hard disk to the board to test it, the light is always red ! i tried hard and soft reset but didn't work !
so my questions
1- do i have to follow the exact steps as the video to format the hard disk to ext4 or can i just use what i did
2- can it work with 1 TB hard disk or is it must be a 2 TB at least ?
3- does the red light means the board is not working and i wasted my money on it or is it related issue to question #1 ?!
